Rendra
The og:image tag that renders itself.
A template-based image API for OG images, social cards and thumbnails. Signed template URLs; crawlers get a PNG.
What it does
Rendra is an image generation API for social cards, OG images and thumbnails. You design a template once, then point your og:image tag at a signed template URL.
Crawlers that fetch the URL get a PNG back, so every page you publish can carry its own card without a design step.
Who it is for
Developers and makers who want a share image for every page without running an image pipeline themselves.
What you get
- Template-based rendering of OG images, social cards and thumbnails
- Signed template URLs, so only the images you allow get rendered
- PNG output that social crawlers can fetch
- API-first: built to be called from your own site or build
Availability
Rendra is in private beta and has not launched publicly. Its own site, rendra.alphabros.eu, is behind restricted access for now. Questions or interest: [email protected].
